Town Lift/Main Street FAQs

Yes. All of our ski shops offer the same quality rental equipment, personal attention, professional boot fittings, free exchanges, and complimentary ski valet. Choose the shop that is most convenient for where you plan to park, arrive, or ski.

825 Main St Garage and 838 Park Ave Garage are two paid options for all day parking. The Flag Pole Parking Lot on Swede Alley is also nearby.

While Main Street and the China Bridge garage require payment during peak hours, visitors can park for free at local Park-and-Ride lots (such as Richardson Flat). From there, free transit buses run directly to the Old Town Transit Center, which is a short walk away or you can take the free Trolley.

No. Official resort group lessons and child ski school programs meet exclusively at the Mountain Village and Canyons Village base areas.

Yes, ski and snowboard lessons need to be booked directly through Park City Mountain – they do not allow outside instructors.

Park City is highly optimized for car-free travel. The most seamless approach is to take an airport shuttle or rideshare from Salt Lake City International Airport directly to your lodging, and then utilize the town’s fully free, comprehensive public transit system. Choosing a slopeside rental shop like Park City Sport means you can walk straight from your fittings to the lifts without ever needing a vehicle.

Absolutely. The Old Town Transit Center is the central hub for the town’s 100% free bus system and is a 5 minute walk from Town Lift. Additionally, the free Main Street Trolley continuous loops up and down the street, making it easy to catch a ride with your ski gear.

The biggest savings usually come from buying early online, choosing multi-day or Epic Day Pass options, traveling midweek, and checking military or pass-holder discounts when eligible.
